The Department of Commerce (Unaided) was established in the academic year 1996–97. It offers a four-year undergraduate B.Com. (Honours) Programme. The B.Com. (Honours) Programme provides a specialized and rigorous curriculum that combines core accounting principles with advanced studies in corporate finance, investment management, and GST laws.
Designed to develop strong analytical and technical expertise, the program includes practical training in financial modeling and tax planning, preparing students for demanding roles in fields such as auditing and wealth management. With a strong focus on statutory compliance and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), graduates are well-equipped to pursue professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, or CFA, giving them a distinct competitive advantage in the global finance industry.

Welcome to the Department of Commerce (Unaided). The modern world requires highly trained and skillful young persons. This requirements has given due importance to commerce education. We introduce academic program which enable the students to enhance the employability in the corporate sector. B.Com with ACCA provides ample opportunities for students. The programme has potential for meeting higher standard with new courses of study. We cater to the students to train and educate for the academic excellence and to face social  and ethical issues. In addition to the syllabus, we offers various value added courses to enrich the knowledge of the students. One month On the Job Training  is provided to the students to explore more on the institutional function. 800 plus students were graduated and well placed in the banking sector, logistics operations, audit firms, IT sector, MNCs, teaching and own business.
